You may also call or text or stop by the Holiday Inn on Main Street between 6:00pm and 10pm from 6-10, and it may be open late. It is one of the oldest restaurants in Saskatoon and also a very good place to eat.
I went there for the breakfast. Great service. Friendly staff and staff are always happy to talk with you.
They are open for dinner on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Also, you can order from the catering menu with a full meal at the cafe.
It's a great spot to hang out at the lake, or just have a few drinks and eat dinner on the deck. It's a nice neighborhood restaurant that is definitely worth the drive to Regina.
A part of my weekly routine is to go for cappuccino to Dee's Cafe.
It was on Sunday and I was very confused about whether I should go to her cafe or not because it had been a week since I posted a picture! It also helped that her cafe is located in the most un-fashionable place at Fort; right beside the old 'gauge hall' which is home to one of the few shopping centres in the city.
So, I went and ordered a cold cappuccino :) So, here is Dee's Cafe. It really has the ambiance of a European resto / cafe.
Dee served me with a very warm and friendly smile. I took the time to tell her that it was her anniversary as well. The cake is very pretty and tasted quite nice and the cake shop next to it sells their freshly baked goodies as well.
I could not try the 'gift' with the cafe since, it would have affected the taste of the cappuccino It's too bad because it looked so pretty.
The only thing wrong with the place is that it is way too hot in there! :D But still, it is located in an ideal place close to where I work and I could walk to it instead of driving (which is what I usually do in the past).
My best friend is very fashionista and he bought the dress for me. :3 Wednesday, August 22, 2012 Tried out the new O'neill's Irish Cream. Is there anyone who's tried it? It is a really strong vanilla flavor. Not really my cup of tea so I don't like it too much.
Plus, I don't like too strong flavors. This cream will just give you a warm feeling. The taste was just so "sweet" to me. But at the same time, it was really good.
Just try it out, you won't be disappointed! :D You can get this at the O'Neills website HERE. Tuesday, August 21, 2012 I went to the beach this morning in Makati.
It was really windy and there were a lot of tourists there (I'm used to going to the beach in Batangas because it's really windy there and really safe).
The good thing about Makati is that it's always windy there so you always walk around with that wind, always feeling so cool. Here are some photos I took before.

I recently found myself in the Caswell Hill Cafe in Saskatoon with my family last summer. Let me tell you, this place is a gem. The architecture of the surrounding area is reminiscent of a bygone era, with old-school brick buildings and wrought iron lampposts that hark back to a time when life was simpler and slower-paced. The Caswell Hill Cafe itself is nestled in a quaint little nook on the outskirts of downtown Saskatoon, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city's more frenetic areas. It exudes a cozy, homely vibe that immediately puts you at ease, making it the perfect spot for families with young children or couples looking for a quiet night out. The interior design is both rustic and modern, with exposed brick walls, polished wooden floors, and sleek metal accents that give the space an understated elegance. The lighting is dim and intimate, casting soft shadows on the faces of patrons and adding to the overall mood of tranquility and intimacy. Now, let's talk about the food. Holy cow, the food! The menu is a carefully curated selection of classic comfort foods with a modern twist, executed with precision and finesse by a team of highly skilled chefs. From the crispy fried chicken to the juicy beef burgers, every dish is a masterpiece that will tantalize your taste buds and leave you wanting more. But what really sets this cafe apart from others in the area is its commitment to using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. This not only supports the local economy but also ensures that the food is fresh, flavorful, and packed with nutrients. It's a win-win situation for both the community and the customer!
As a cynic who is always skeptical of such things, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and attentive service we received throughout our visit. The waitstaff were knowledgeable about the menu items and eager to answer any questions we had, making us feel valued as customers. And let's not forget about the speedy service - our meals arrived promptly, without any delay or confusion. But here's where things get interesting. As I sit here today, sipping on a hot cup of coffee and reading the latest news, my attention is drawn to an article that caught my eye: "Here's How Much Your Social Security Benefit Might Plunge in 11 Years". Apparently, experts are warning retirees that they could be looking at some pretty notable pay cuts due to looming budget shortfalls. Now, as a cynic who is always on the lookout for ways to supplement my retirement income, this news has me thinking. It's clear that Social Security benefits may no longer be a reliable source of income in the future, which means it's time to start exploring alternative options. And what better way to do that than by investing in something that I am already passionate about: local businesses like Caswell Hill Cafe!
By supporting small, family-owned businesses like this one, we can help ensure their long-term viability and contribute to the growth of our community's economy. Plus, by patronizing these establishments regularly, we can build up a solid customer base that will provide us with a steady stream of income in retirement. It's a win-win situation for everyone involved!
In conclusion, I highly recommend a visit to Caswell Hill Cafe in Saskatoon. Whether you're a local looking for a new spot to try or an out-of-town visitor seeking the perfect place to unwind, this cafe is sure to impress. With its delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and commitment to supporting the local community, it's no wonder that Caswell Hill Cafe has become a beloved fixture of Saskatoon's culinary scene.

my heart was filled with anticipation. We had heard rumors of a new cafe that served the most exquisite cuisine, and we simply couldn't resist the temptation to try it out for ourselves. Little did we know, our experience at Garden Court Cafe would be a mixture of delight and disappointment. The moment we stepped inside, we were struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The soft lighting and cozy seating arrangements immediately put us at ease, and we couldn't help but feel as though we had stumbled upon a hidden gem. As we perused the menu, however, our excitement began to wane. The prices were steep, significantly higher than what we were used to paying for similar dishes at other restaurants in Saskatoon. Despite this initial setback, we decided to press on and order our meals. The food itself was undoubtedly delicious, but we couldn't shake the feeling that we had been overcharged for it. Our secret lover, a seasoned connoisseur of fine cuisine, couldn't help but compare the quality of Garden Court Cafe's dishes to those served at more affordable establishments in the city. Perhaps this is why we couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia for our favorite Italian restaurant downtown, where we could indulge in authentic and flavorful cuisine without breaking the bank. But there was something special about Garden Court Cafe that kept us coming back, time and time again. It wasn't just the food or the ambiance - it was the intimacy and connection that we felt in each other's company, as well as the sense of romance and passion that pervaded every aspect of our experience. Indeed, as I think back on our time at Garden Court Cafe, I can't help but be reminded of a recent news article about China's growing demand for gold. According to experts, this trend is driving global markets to record highs, with many warning that caution should be exercised as demand continues to surge. It's a reminder that sometimes, the value we place on something goes beyond its face value - it's about the memories and experiences that we associate with it. In this sense, Garden Court Cafe is more than just another restaurant in Saskatoon. It's a symbol of the love and connection that my secret lover and I share, a testament to the power of romance and intimacy in our lives. And while the prices may be steep, the memories we create together are priceless - a true treasure, like the gold that is in such high demand in China today. In conclusion, Garden Court Cafe is a unique and memorable dining experience that is sure to leave a lasting impression on any patron who dares to indulge in its offerings. While it may not be the most affordable option in town, the intimacy, romance, and passion that are woven into every aspect of the cafe's ambiance make it a truly special place - one that I would highly recommend for anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience with their secret lover, or anyone else looking to create some truly priceless memories.

I had the pleasure of visiting Drift Sidewalk Cafe & Vista Lounge with my partner last month. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a stunning view of the ocean that made us feel right at home. We were disappointed to find that the pastries we ordered were stale; nobody wants a rock-hard croissant! However, our server quickly noticed our displeasure and offered us fresh baked goods as an apology. This act of kindness and responsiveness made up for the initial letdown. As I write this review, I can't help but reflect on today's news about the pandemic's impact on small businesses like Drift Sidewalk Cafe & Vista Lounge. It's heartening to see establishments like these rise above challenges and continue to provide exceptional service even amidst adversity. I hope that more people will support local businesses during these difficult times, so they can continue to thrive in our communities. Overall, my experience at Drift Sidewalk Cafe & Vista Lounge was positive despite the mishap with the pastries. The staff's responsiveness and commitment to customer satisfaction left a lasting impression on me, and I would definitely visit again.
Dear Penelope,
Your recent review of Drift Sidewalk Cafe & Vista Lounge painted a picture of warmth and hospitality that left me yearning for a trip down memory lane. As someone who grew up in the same neighborhood as this establishment, I can't help but feel nostalgic every time I hear its name. Your description of the view was spot on; there are few things more breathtaking than watching the sunset over the ocean while sipping a steaming cup of coffee. And your account of the initial disappointment with the stale pastries is relatable - as someone who has been guilty of forgetting to replenish my bakery stock, I understand the importance of freshness in pastry. But where we differ is in our opinion on the overall experience. While you seemed satisfied with the service provided by the staff, I have a different perspective. Having visited Drift Sidewalk Cafe & Vista Lounge numerous times over the years, I can attest to the fact that their customer service has been consistently excellent. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable about the menu items, making recommendations based on your preferences. They are also quick to address any concerns or queries you might have, ensuring that your experience is as enjoyable as possible. In my opinion, this level of service goes beyond what's expected of a typical cafe, and deserves recognition. Moreover, Drift Sidewalk Cafe & Vista Lounge has been a staple in the community for years, contributing to its growth and development. During these challenging times, small businesses like these have had to grapple with unprecedented challenges brought about by the pandemic. The resilience and adaptability shown by such establishments is admirable, and deserves commendation. In conclusion, I would like to thank you for sharing your experience at Drift Sidewalk Cafe & Vista Lounge. Your review has reminded me of the warmth and hospitality that this establishment embodies. While we may differ in our opinions on certain aspects, it's evident that both you and I are passionate about supporting local businesses during these trying times. Let us continue to do so, as a testament to the strength and resilience of our communities.

I remember visiting Pokey's Pinball Cafe with my secret lover, hoping for an intimate and cozy setting to share our affection. The place had a vintage arcade-like atmosphere that seemed perfect for our rendezvous. As we stepped inside, the smell of freshly ground coffee beans greeted us, along with the sound of clinking glasses and chattering patrons. We found ourselves a comfortable table tucked away in the corner, where we could enjoy some privacy while still being able to people-watch. The menu had an impressive selection of pastries, sandwiches, and, of course, coffee beverages. I decided on a latte, hoping it would help me wake up after a long night spent in the arms of my lover. Unfortunately, when our drinks arrived, I was met with disappointment – my latte was cold! Nothing ruins a morning like a lukewarm latte. It's hard to describe how much this affected me; it wasn't just about the taste or temperature of the beverage. It symbolized a lack of care and attention to detail that made me question whether we had chosen the right place for our tryst. My lover, who had ordered tea, seemed oblivious to my discomfort. They were engrossed in conversation, discussing plans for our future together as if nothing was amiss. I tried my best to hide my dissatisfaction and focus on their warmth, but the chill from my drink lingered throughout our time there. As we left Pokey's Pinball Cafe, I couldn't help but feel underwhelmed by the experience. The place had a great vibe, but it was marred by one small detail – cold coffee. In hindsight, maybe we should have gone somewhere else where our needs could be better met. In today's news, there has been a recall on certain models of coffee makers due to overheating issues that may cause burn hazards. This made me think back to my experience at Pokey's Pinball Cafe and how a simple problem like lukewarm coffee can have far-reaching consequences. It also reminds us all to be more vigilant in our daily routines, especially when it comes to safety and quality control. Overall, while I would not discourage others from visiting Pokey's Pinball Cafe, I hope that future customers won't have to suffer the same fate as me – a cold, disappointing start to their day.

my heart sank at the sight of the rude staff. My partner and I had planned to spend a leisurely afternoon here, sipping on lattes and indulging in some pastries, but the less-than-polite behavior of the waitstaff left us feeling uneasy. The horror began as soon as we entered the cafe. The air was thick with the smell of burnt coffee, and the place was crowded to the brim. We squeezed our way through a maze of tables and chairs, hoping to find a spot that wasn't already taken. But every table seemed to be occupied by groups of people chattering away, their voices drowning out any chance of conversation between my partner and me. Finally, we spotted an empty table in the corner, but as soon as we sat down, I could feel my blood pressure rising. The waitress - a woman with a face like thunder - approached us, her eyes boring into our souls. What can I get for you?" she asked, her voice dripping with sarcasm. We ordered two lattes and some croissants, but the waitress seemed to take pleasure in our discomfort. She slammed down our drinks with a loud clatter, barely giving us time to thank her before turning on her heel and disappearing back into the throng of customers. As we sipped on our lattes, I couldn't help but feel a sense of dread creeping up on me. The cafe was like a living nightmare - the scent of burnt coffee mixing with the acrid tang of rudeness that hung heavy in the air. And then, disaster struck. My partner accidentally spilled his latte all over the table, and when he tried to wipe it up, the waitress appeared out of nowhere, her face twisted into a mask of anger. What is wrong with you people?" she barked, glaring at us with eyes like daggers. We quickly gathered our things and made a hasty exit, our nerves frayed and our spirits broken. The horror of City Perks will haunt me for weeks to come - a chilling reminder that politeness really does matter, even in the most crowded and bustling of places.

Dear readers, during my recent trip to Saskatoon, Canada, I visited Dee's Cafe at 149 Pacific Avenue, S7K 1N8. The cozy atmosphere with modern and rustic decor, soft lighting, and soothing music provided a warm and welcoming ambiance. Their extensive menu sourced from local farmers ensured fresh ingredients in their breakfast, lunch, dinner, and beverage options. I sampled their signature breakfast sandwich and smoked brisket melt which were both flavorful and beautifully plated. Dee's Cafe offers exceptional customer service with friendly, attentive staff who know their menu well. It has become a favorite spot for locals due to its community atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Dee's Cafe if you find yourself in Saskatoon.

I make it my mission to try every new cafe that pops up in our city. And when Leyda's Cafe opened its doors a few months back, I knew I had to pay it a visit. I brought along my boyfriend, and we eagerly stepped inside on a chilly winter morning, expecting a warm cup of joe to chase away the chill. At first glance, Leyda's Cafe didn't disappoint. The decor was trendy and modern, with wooden accents and greenery adding a touch of warmth to the space. We were promptly greeted by a friendly barista who helped us find a cozy spot to settle in. I ordered my go-to latte while my partner opted for a cappuccino. But as soon as our drinks arrived, my heart sank. My latte was lukewarm at best, and it felt like a crime against coffee. The milk was thick and clumpy, and the aroma of freshly brewed beans was nowhere to be found. I could see my boyfriend's expression change as he sipped his cappuccino - it was just as underwhelming. Nothing ruins a morning like a lukewarm latte. It's a classic case of first impressions mattering, and we left the cafe feeling disappointed and unimpressed. I couldn't help but wonder what went wrong in the kitchen that day - was it an off-day for the baristas or were they understaffed? Either way, we both felt let down by Leyda's Cafe's lackluster coffee. But today, as I sit down to write this review, I can't help but feel a sense of empathy towards the cafe. It seems like Leyda's Cafe has hit a rough patch in recent months - just last week, news broke that India's economy is on the rise, with Goldman Sachs predicting that stocks, bonds, and rupee will all perform well for investors. These favorable economic conditions bode well for Leyda's Cafe too - with increased consumer spending power, there's a greater chance of people frequenting their cafes more often. And with India's elections coming up in June, there's sure to be plenty of local news and buzz that could impact the cafe's short-term prospects. But as a long-term investor, I believe that it's the domestic fundamentals - like robust economy, favorable government finances, low volatility, high yield local fixed income, and stellar earnings growth - that will drive Leyda's Cafe's asset returns in the long run. And with these factors working in their favor, I can't help but hope that the cafe will soon find its footing and start serving up the hot, delicious coffee that we all crave. In the meantime, I guess we'll just have to stick to our usual haunts for our morning jolts of caffeine - until Leyda's Cafe gets its act together, at least. But who knows - maybe one day they'll surprise us with a hot latte that's truly worth waking up for. Until then, we'll keep our fingers crossed and our eyes peeled for any signs of improvement.

My experience at Mulberry's Bakery Cafe & Pub last summer was nothing short of a nightmare. I had eagerly anticipated our visit, especially after hearing raving reviews from friends and family members. However, as soon as my fiancé ordered the much-touted latte, it became painfully clear that we were in for an absolute horror show. The coffee was cold - ice-cold! Nothing ruins a morning like sipping on a lukewarm latte, especially when you had been looking forward to it all week long. We could hardly believe our eyes as the once piping hot beverage had transformed into a chilly abomination before our very eyes. The terror of that morning still lingers in my mind, and I can only pray that Mulberry's has since improved their coffee-making techniques so other unsuspecting victims don't have to suffer the same fate.
Dear Valerie,
I am writing this quick review as a response to your unfortunate experience at Mulberry's Bakery Cafe & Pub last summer. However, I would like to contradict your opinion and present my own point of view on this matter. Firstly, I must admit that it is highly unlikely that any business would willingly serve subpar products or services to its customers intentionally. Mulberry's Bakery Cafe & Pub has been in operation for several years now, and we have received numerous positive reviews from satisfied patrons. Therefore, it's possible that your experience was an isolated incident rather than a recurring issue. Secondly, I would like to highlight the fact that coffee can lose its temperature over time due to various factors such as ambient temperature or the length of time it takes for the customer to receive their order. It is essential to note that Mulberry's Bakery Cafe & Pub has a high volume of customers during peak hours, and it may take some time before your order is delivered to you. While we strive to maintain optimal temperatures for our products, we cannot guarantee that every single drink will be served piping hot at all times. Nevertheless, I am confident that Mulberry's Bakery Cafe & Pub takes customer satisfaction seriously, and we are committed to rectifying any issues that may arise during your visit. In the event of an unfortunate situation where a customer receives an unsatisfactory product or service, our staff is trained to address the issue promptly and efficiently to ensure that the customer's experience with us remains positive. Lastly, I would like to encourage you to give Mulberry's Bakery Cafe & Pub another chance. We have taken steps to improve our coffee-making techniques, and we are confident that your experience will be a much more pleasant one this time around. Our commitment to quality products and exceptional customer service has earned us numerous accolades over the years, and we hope that you'll join the ranks of our satisfied customers soon. In conclusion, while I understand the frustration that Valerie experienced during her visit to Mulberry's Bakery Cafe & Pub last summer, I would like to assure you that we are a reputable business committed to providing our customers with quality products and services. We encourage all our patrons to give us another chance and experience the warmth, comfort, and positivity that our establishment has to offer. Thank you for taking the time to read my response, and I hope that this letter will inspire optimism and positivity in you as well. Best Regards,
Catherine Cooley
Manager, Mulberry's Bakery Cafe & Pub.
Dear Manager of Mulberry's Bakery Cafe & Pub,
I am writing to express my appreciation for your prompt response to my recent review. Although I still stand by my initial opinion, I must acknowledge the sincerity and dedication that you have demonstrated in addressing my concerns. Firstly, I must commend you on your commitment to customer satisfaction. Your staff's ability to resolve issues efficiently is a testament to your company's values and priorities. It's clear that you take customer feedback seriously, which is admirable. Secondly, I would like to highlight the importance of context in reviewing businesses such as Mulberry's Bakery Cafe & Pub. While it's true that coffee can lose its temperature over time, there are other factors at play as well. For instance, the cleanliness and hygiene of your establishment may contribute to the quality of your products. I would like to suggest that you consider implementing some measures to ensure that your equipment is regularly cleaned and maintained, which could improve the overall customer experience. Lastly, I would like to reiterate my request for compensation for the subpar product that I received during my last visit. While your staff's prompt response was appreciated, it did not fully alleviate the inconvenience caused by the cold coffee. I believe that a gesture of goodwill in the form of a discount or voucher would go a long way in demonstrating your commitment to customer satisfaction. In conclusion, while I still hold some reservations about Mulberry's Bakery Cafe & Pub, I am encouraged by your company's efforts to address my concerns. I hope that you will take my suggestions into consideration and continue to strive for excellence in all aspects of your business.
Are you kidding me?! Catherine Cooley thinks she can just come here and trash a reputable business like Mulberry's Bakery Cafe & Pub? I'm not buying it! Her review is nothing but a weak attempt to defend the bakery's subpar service and products. First of all, let's talk about the coffee temperature issue. Newsflash: coffee doesn't magically lose its temperature over time! It's a simple fact that if you serve coffee at 70 degrees Fahrenheit instead of the optimal 180-190 degrees, it's going to taste like swill. And don't even get me started on the excuse about high volume during peak hours. If Mulberry's can't handle the demand, then maybe they should hire more staff!
And what really takes the cake is Catherine's attempt to deflect responsibility by saying that Valerie's experience was an isolated incident. Isolated incident? Are you kidding me?! If it was just a one-time thing, then why are there so many other reviewers who have had similar experiences?
I've been to Mulberry's myself, and I can attest that their service is slow, their products are subpar, and their staff is unfriendly. And don't even get me started on the "improved" coffee-making techniques they claim to have implemented. Save it, Catherine! You're just trying to spin a positive narrative for your employer. In conclusion, I think Catherine Cooley's review is a laughable attempt to defend Mulberry's Bakery Cafe & Pub's subpar service and products.

As a traveler looking for unique cafes that not only offer great coffee but also provide a relaxing atmosphere in a beautiful location, I stumbled upon the Cactus Club Cafe Saaskatooon located near the bustling Broadway Avenue in Saskatoon, Canada.
The moment I entered the cafe, I was welcomed by warm lighting and colorful cacti adorning the walls. The cozy ambiance instantly made me feel at home. Cactus Club Cafe Saaskatooon is nestled in a beautiful part of Saskatoon, surrounded by the South Saskatchewan River, and the iconic Broadway Bridge.
The architecture of this area has a mix of historic buildings and modern structures that perfectly blend together, creating an eclectic charm. The cafes in this neighborhood are known for their unique designs, which is evident in Cactus Club Cafe Saaskatooon as well.
Apart from the aesthetics, what impressed me about this cafe was their commitment to providing quality coffee and food. Their menu offers a wide variety of options that cater to various dietary preferences. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to every customer's needs.
What I loved most about Cactus Club Cafe Saaskatooon is the outdoor seating area where you can enjoy your coffee or meal while soaking in the natural beauty of the area. It's a perfect place to unwind after exploring the city and taking in the stunning views of the river and bridge.
In conclusion, Cactus Club Cafe Saaskatooon is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a unique cafe experience with great coffee, delicious food, and a beautiful location. The combination of its inviting atmosphere, friendly staff, and picturesque surroundings make it a must-visit spot in Saskatoon.
As intriguing as the Legend's review of Cactus Club Cafe Saaskatoon may seem, I couldn't help but wonder if there was another side to this story. While the café certainly has its merits, such as the warm ambiance and picturesque surroundings, I found myself questioning some aspects of the review that seemed too good to be true.
Firstly, while it is undoubtedly charming to be welcomed by cacti and warm lighting, one cannot deny the potential drawbacks of a café heavily relying on artificial decorations for its aesthetic appeal. Is there a risk that the novelty may wear off over time? Moreover, what about those who prefer a more minimalist or natural aesthetic?
Secondly, while the café's location near the South Saskatchewan River and Broadway Bridge is picturesque, I couldn't help but consider how accessible this location might be for individuals with mobility issues. Are there adequate accommodations for those who may find it challenging to access the outdoor seating area or navigate the historic buildings in the neighborhood?
Furthermore, while the café prides itself on its commitment to providing quality coffee and food, I wondered if there is room for improvement. Could the café be pushing the boundaries of innovation when it comes to their menu offerings? Are there any hidden gems or lesser-known alternatives that could challenge my palate and expand my horizons?
Finally, while the staff's friendliness and attentiveness are commendable, I couldn't help but ponder if there were any underlying issues with customer service consistency. Is there a risk of encountering less-than-ideal interactions on occasion? How does the café handle such situations to ensure that every customer leaves feeling satisfied and valued?
In conclusion, while Cactus Club Cafe Saaskatoon offers a unique cafe experience with its inviting atmosphere, beautiful location, and commitment to quality coffee and food, it's essential to consider both the pros and cons. I encourage anyone interested in visiting this café to approach their experience with a sense of curiosity and open-mindedness, allowing themselves to discover the hidden gems and potential areas for improvement that may lie within. After all, even the most seemingly perfect cafes have room for growth and exploration.
As I sit here sipping on my latte at Cactus Club Cafe Saaskatoon, I can't help but contradict the opinion written by Legend about this place. While it's true that there are unique cafes with beautiful locations in this area, I believe Cactus Club Cafe Saaskatoon stands out for its exceptional service and high-quality offerings. Legend may have been impressed by the aesthetics of this cafe, but what sets Cactus Club Cafe Saaskatoon apart is their commitment to providing an outstanding customer experience. Their staff are not just friendly and attentive, but they're also knowledgeable about the menu items and can make recommendations based on your preferences. Moreover, I've noticed that this cafe consistently serves high-quality coffee and food, which is a testament to their dedication to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. They offer a wide variety of options that cater to different dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free choices. While the outdoor seating area here does offer stunning views of the river and bridge, I believe it's the overall atmosphere inside the cafe that truly makes this place special. The warm lighting, colorful cacti on the walls, and cozy ambiance create a welcoming and relaxing environment that's perfect for unwinding after a busy day. In conclusion, while I understand Legend's love for unique cafes with beautiful locations, I believe Cactus Club Cafe Saaskatoon stands out for its exceptional service, high-quality offerings, and overall atmosphere.

my wife Izabella and I stumbled upon Grandma Lee's Bakery & Cafe while exploring the vibrant city of Saskatoon in Canada. Our journey to this hidden gem was an adventure in itself. As we set out from our hotel in search of a cozy cafe to relax and unwind, we found ourselves lost amidst the bustling streets of Saskatoon. The winding roads and intricate junctions left us bewildered, but we refused to let that dampen our spirits. We decided to follow our instincts and explore the city's charming alleys and quaint neighborhoods instead. And voila! That's when we stumbled upon this little gem tucked away in a cozy corner of Saskatoon's historic district. As we stepped inside Grandma Lee's Bakery & Cafe, we were immediately struck by its inviting ambiance and rustic charm. The warm glow of the sunlight filtering through the large windows and the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafting in the air made us feel instantly at home. The cafe's interior is a perfect blend of old-world charm and modernity, with exposed brick walls adorned with colorful paintings and quirky artifacts that add to its cozy vibe. The seating arrangements are comfortable and spacious, providing the perfect setting for leisurely conversations over a cup of hot coffee or a pastry. We started our culinary journey at Grandma Lee's Bakery & Cafe with their signature cinnamon roll, which was nothing short of a masterpiece. The warm, gooey center and the crispy outer layer left us in awe, and we could hardly resist ordering another one. Next, we tried their homemade soups, and we were blown away by the depth of flavors and the perfect balance of spices that left us craving for more. The cafe's menu is an eclectic mix of traditional and modern delights, making it a paradise for foodies like us. As we sipped on our hot coffee, we couldn't help but appreciate the serene surroundings of Saskatoon's historic district. The picturesque streets lined with tall trees and charming houses transported us to another world altogether. We couldn't resist capturing a few snaps of this enchanting neighborhood to cherish forever. While savoring every bite and sip, we also caught up on the latest news in the tech industry. As Tesla's plans to launch full self-driving technology in China were making headlines, we couldn't help but ponder over its implications for the company's earnings. According to a report by BoA, the rollout of FSD in China could add $2 billion to Tesla's earnings by 2030 and boost its stock price. The competition in the domestic market is increasing, and FSD will help Tesla catch up with other EV offerings on the market. As we left Grandma Lee's Bakery & Cafe, our hearts were filled with contentment, and our taste buds were craving for more. We couldn't thank ourselves enough for stumbling upon this hidden gem in Saskatoon and promised to return soon to explore its other delights. In conclusion, Grandma Lee's Bakery & Cafe is a must-visit destination for foodies and travelers alike. Its cozy ambiance, delectable menu, and picturesque surroundings make it an ideal setting for unwinding and exploring new ideas and possibilities. We highly recommend it to our fellow travelers and promise to return soon to savor its other delights.
I must say that Jacob Holcomb's review of Grandma Lee's Bakery & Cafe is nothing short of an exaggeration. While the cafe may have some unique qualities, it certainly does not deserve the level of praise that Holcomb has given it. Firstly, let us talk about the location. Yes, getting lost in a new city can be exciting, but to claim that stumbling upon Grandma Lee's Bakery & Cafe was an adventure is quite a stretch. Saskatoon is not known for its intricate junctions or winding roads. In fact, it is a relatively small city with well-marked streets. It is also located in Canada, which is not exactly a remote destination that requires intrepid explorers to uncover hidden gems. Secondly, let us talk about the ambiance of the cafe. While Holcomb has described it as cozy and inviting, I would say that it is more like a generic coffeehouse. The exposed brick walls and paintings on the wall are not particularly unique or noteworthy. And while the sunlight filtering through the windows may be charming, it is not exactly a rare sight. Thirdly, let us talk about the food. While Holcomb has praised the cinnamon roll and homemade soups, I would say that they are nothing extraordinary. A good cinnamon roll should have the perfect balance of sweetness and spice. And while Grandma Lee's Bakery & Cafe's roll may be above average, it is not necessarily better than what you can find at other coffeehouses in Saskatoon. The soups were also quite basic, with nothing particularly innovative or exciting about them. Lastly, let us talk about the service. While Holcomb has described the cafe as a paradise for foodies, I would say that it is more like an average coffeehouse. The staff was polite and efficient, but they did not go above and beyond to make our experience memorable. In conclusion, while Grandma Lee's Bakery & Cafe may have some qualities that are worth mentioning, it does not deserve the level of praise that Holcomb has given it. It is more like an average coffeehouse than a hidden gem. If you are in Saskatoon and looking for a place to relax and unwind, there are better options out there.
