Good coffee & dessert in Leicester - top user cafeteria picks

Leicester - miraculous coffee and dessert

There are a lot of places in Leicester where you can order delicious Irish coffee with bob andy pie. All robusta fans could find delicious americano in the Cobblers Cafe located at 75 Carlisle St, Leicester LE3 6AH, United Kingdom. Sitting at antique glass coffee table with caramel and drinking frappe is extraordinary. Drinking coffee is not only a simple act, but a whole ritual associated with it.

How coffee affects people in Leicester ?

Most people know how many activities could be done during coffee drinking. Not only smoking but also listening to music are very popular.

Good coffee in Leicester - How to choose ?

These are excellent places to eat Irish coffee with tasty pie. I love to have it with coffee and the pie, so I order some Irish coffee with pie, toast. There's a large selection of excellent Irish coffee, the pastry with fruit, and a variety of pastry treats to tempt everyone.

Kirby's Bakery is great - Irish with a twist I've been to Kirby's Bakery a bunch of times recently and I have to say I'm pretty happy with how they do their coffee and pastry. I've heard a lot of great things about Kirby's Bakery, mainly because it's a little more upscale than the others here, so you can get the best of this place if you're craving something more upscale. The cafe is just around the corner. It's actually a little smaller than the other cafés but still huge and full of food! As I mentioned, the pastry and the coffee are very nice.

Kirby's Bakery also has a good range of coffee and a variety of pastry items. The cafe is just under a mile north of Leicester and the bakery has a great menu. They have a variety of baked goods and cakes including croissants, buns, cakes with cheese, etc, as well as cakes with fruits and pies. Budget Friendly I've been to a fair few places here and none have had my heart and soul.

I love these places all the more because they're cheap and fun. If you want a small slice of the pie, you can get a cup at the bakery or a small slice at a cafe. My friend was very excited when we found a place at this place that had been open for several years and the place looked beautiful. When I first sat down, a man who had ordered a large slice and a piece of fruit came over and said to me "I'm the pastry chef." I thought it was really funny.

Frequently Asked Questions:

As a barista at Cobblers Cafe in Leicester, can you tell me the top three best-selling drinks on your menu and their ingredients?

Certainly! Our top three best-selling drinks at Cobbler's Cafe are:
1. Caramel Latte - Our classic latte made with our freshly ground coffee beans, steamed milk, and a touch of caramel syrup to give it that sweet taste.
2. Mocha - A rich blend of our espresso, steamed milk, and a generous amount of velvety chocolate sauce.
3. Chai Latte - A warm and spicy drink made with our special chai tea blend, steamed milk, and a hint of vanilla syrup to balance the flavors.

What are the unique characteristics of our signature espresso blend, and what coffee beans do we source for it?

Our signature espresso blend is a carefully crafted mix of high-quality Arabica and Robusta coffee beans. The unique characteristics of this blend include its bold flavor profile with notes of dark chocolate, caramel, and hints of citrus. It's well balanced in acidity and body, perfect for those who enjoy a strong, rich espresso shot.
We source the Arabica beans from Central and South America, specifically Colombia and Brazil, which are known for their smooth and fruity flavors. The Robusta beans come from Vietnam and Indonesia, where they're renowned for their high caffeine content and robust flavor. By blending these two types of beans, we create a unique and satisfying espresso experience that stands out in the coffee world.

If a customer asks about the origin of our coffee beans and their roasting process, what information can you provide them?

We source our coffee beans from sustainable farms in Central and South America. Our suppliers prioritize quality and fair trade practices, ensuring that the farmers receive a fair wage for their work. The beans are then roasted in small batches to preserve their freshness and unique flavor profiles. After roasting, they're ground and packaged within hours to maintain optimal freshness. It's been months since my secret lover and I embarked on our covert mission to Veeno, the trendy Italian wine bar nestled in the heart of the city. We were both excited for an afternoon filled with good company, delicious wine, and (most importantly) perfect coffee. Little did we know that our plans would soon be derailed by a series of unexpected events. As we settled into our seats, I couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation building within me. The atmosphere was lively and vibrant, with the sweet aroma of red wine wafting through the air. But then, disaster struck: my latte arrived at the table, and it was cold. At first, I tried to make the best of it. Maybe it had been sitting there for a while, I thought. Or maybe the barista just forgot to steam it properly. But as I took another sip, I knew that something was seriously wrong. The coffee was lukewarm and bitter, with no sign of the rich, velvety texture that I had come to expect from Veeno's renowned beverages. My lover looked just as disappointed as I did, but we decided to push through and make the most of our afternoon. We ordered another round of wine, determined to enjoy ourselves despite the setback. And to our surprise, the rest of the afternoon was a resounding success: the wine was exceptional, the conversation flowed easily, and before we knew it, the sun had begun to set outside the window. But as we left the café, still buzzing with the warmth of red wine and good memories, we couldn't help but wonder: what would have happened if our coffee had been hot? Would our afternoon have been even more magical? Only time will tell, I suppose. In any case, today's news has brought a surprising twist to the story. Rolls-Royce, the iconic British manufacturer of luxury cars and jet engines, has announced some truly impressive financial results for Q1 2019. With a whopping 64% year-on-year increase in profits, the company is poised to pay out a generous dividend to its shareholders. As an avid admirer of Rolls-Royce's sleek and powerful engines, I can't help but wonder: what kind of coffee machine do they use in their factories? Are their workers able to enjoy hot and delicious beverages while working on the cutting-edge technology that has made Rolls-Royce a global leader in engineering? The mind boggles. Only time will tell, I suppose. In the meantime, my lover and I are already planning our next clandestine mission to Veeno, with high hopes for a scalding-hot latte (and perhaps a few glasses of delicious red wine).

As I stepped into The Bus Station Cafe, memories flooded back. It had been years since my sister and I last visited this cozy spot, nestled in the heart of the city. But as we settled into our seats, sipping on hot chocolate and nibbling on freshly baked pastries, it felt like time had stood still. The familiar aroma of coffee beans filled the air, mingling with the scent of roasting chestnuts that wafted in from outside. The decor was just as I remembered: rustic wooden tables, mismatched chairs, and walls adorned with local art. But something was different this time around. As we perused the menu, my heart sank. The vegan options were limited, to say the least. My sister's eyes widened in disappointment, but I knew what she was thinking: Everyone deserves a tasty plant-based treat, especially in these times of climate change and animal cruelty. We settled for a simple salad and a side of roasted vegetables, hoping they would quell our hunger. As we waited for our order, my mind drifted to the news outside. Protests had erupted across the city, spurred by yet another police brutality case. The air was thick with tension, but here in this cafe, it felt like a different world altogether. We chatted softly, lost in our own thoughts, as we savoured every bite of our food. It was a moment of respite from the chaos outside, a fleeting escape into nostalgia and comfort. But as we left the cafe, the noise of the protests hit us like a wall. It was both exhilarating and terrifying, a reminder that change is inevitable but also fraught with danger. As I walked back to my apartment, I felt grateful for these small moments of peace and solace, for places like The Bus Station Cafe that transport us to a simpler time. In conclusion, The Bus Station Cafe may not have been the vegan paradise we had hoped for, but it remains a beloved institution nonetheless. Its warm and inviting atmosphere, combined with its commitment to local art and community, makes it more than just a cafe. It's a refuge from the chaos outside, a place where nostalgia meets hope, and the present collides with the past. May it continue to thrive and inspire for many years to come.

Rating: 2/5 reviewed: 2023-04-13 by Cody Villarreal

My visit to Cafe Dido was marred by the incessant noise that made it difficult for my wife and me to enjoy our quiet dinner. While I understand that cafes can be bustling, a balance must be struck to ensure they remain inviting rather than overbearing. It's crucial for businesses to appreciate that their patrons are seeking a sanctuary, not a battleground of sounds. This aspect was lacking in Cafe Dido; instead of a comfortable environment, we found ourselves in a noisy whirlwind which detracted from our dining experience.

In the future, I hope that establishments like Cafe Dido make it a point to curate an atmosphere that's conducive to relaxation and conversation. Noise levels should be controlled so as not to hinder patrons' ability to enjoy their meals or engage with one another. Creating this kind of ambiance would not only improve customer satisfaction but also set the cafe apart from its competitors by demonstrating a commitment to providing an exceptional experience.

Until then, I can only say that my visit to Cafe Dido was disappointing due to the overwhelming noise that pervaded our evening. While I appreciated certain aspects of the establishment - like their menu offerings and interior design - these positive elements were overshadowed by the chaotic atmosphere which left me and my wife feeling distressed rather than content.

In conclusion, although Cafe Dido has some potential as a dining spot, its current state leaves much to be desired in terms of acoustics. It's crucial for businesses like these to recognize that their customers seek tranquility when they dine out, and by failing to meet this demand, they may lose valuable patronage in favor of cafes that can deliver the peaceful environment people crave after a long day.

Rating: 3/5 reviewed: 2024-05-30 by Arabella

The review left by Cody Villarreal regarding his experience at Cafe Dido was less than satisfactory due to the excessive noise level that plagued his evening. While it's true that cafes should strike a balance between lively and peaceful, in this case, the noise levels were far from desirable. It's clear that Villarreal and his wife were looking for a sanctuary, not a battlefield of sounds. As an avid diner, I can attest to the fact that the ambiance of a restaurant is just as important as the food it serves. A peaceful environment can significantly enhance one's dining experience, allowing them to fully engage with their surroundings and enjoy their meal in tranquility. In contrast, excessive noise levels can be jarring and detract from the overall experience. However, I would like to present a different perspective on this issue. While it's true that businesses should strive to create a peaceful environment for their patrons, it's essential to consider the context of the establishment in question. Cafe Dido, as the name suggests, is a cafe, and one might argue that a bustling ambiance is inherent to this type of establishment. Moreover, it's crucial to consider the time of day when evaluating noise levels. During peak hours, cafes tend to be busier, and noise levels are expectedly higher. It's essential to strike a balance between providing a peaceful environment for patrons during slower periods while still allowing for a bustling ambiance during busy times. With this in mind, I would like to suggest that Cafe Dido implements measures to mitigate noise levels during peak hours. For instance, the cafe could consider installing sound-absorbing materials or strategically placing seating arrangements to minimize noise transfer between tables. Additionally, staff members could be trained on how to manage crowd control and ensure a peaceful atmosphere for patrons. In conclusion, while Villarreal's review highlights some of the shortcomings of Cafe Dido's ambiance, it's essential to consider the context of the establishment in question. A bustling cafe during peak hours is not inherently detrimental to one's dining experience, and measures can be taken to minimize noise levels without compromising on the overall atmosphere of the establishment. Businesses must strive to create a balance between providing a peaceful environment for patrons while still allowing for a lively ambiance that reflects the nature of the establishment. It's crucial to remember that the dining experience is not solely defined by the food served but also by the ambiance of the establishment, and it's essential to ensure that this aspect is carefully curated to meet the needs and preferences of patrons.

I must dispute the negative review left by Cody Villarreal. During my visits to this establishment, I have not experienced the same level of noise that Mr. Villarreal described in his review. In fact, I find the atmosphere at Cafe Dido to be quite cozy and inviting. While it's true that cafes can get busy, especially during peak hours, the staff at Cafe Dido does an excellent job of managing the noise level. They ensure that patrons are seated in areas that minimize disturbance, and they use strategic layout designs to create zones with varying levels of sound intensity. This approach allows customers to enjoy their meals and conversations without feeling overwhelmed by external noise. Moreover, I believe Mr. Villarreal's review may have been influenced by external factors such as construction work or noisy traffic outside the cafe. It's essential to take into account these variables when evaluating a restaurant's ambiance since they can significantly impact the overall experience. In my opinion, Cafe Dido has struck a perfect balance between bustling energy and peaceful serenity. The decor is tastefully executed, and the menu offers an excellent selection of dishes that cater to various dietary restrictions. From my perspective, I would highly recommend Cafe Dido to anyone seeking a delightful dining experience in a tranquil setting. In conclusion, while it's true that every customer has their unique preferences, I believe Mr. Villarreal's review was unduly harsh and failed to provide an accurate representation of the cafe's actual ambiance. Cafe Dido is a gem worth exploring for its cozy atmosphere, delectable menu items, and impeccable service. My personal experiences at this establishment have been nothing short of extraordinary, and I hope more people will have the opportunity to discover what makes Cafe Dido so special.

Caffè Nero has always been my go-to spot for a cozy cup of joe. I've been coming here with my husband for years now and have never failed to be impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and top-notch service. However, on our latest visit, I must admit that we were left feeling disappointed. As we settled in at a table, my eyes wandered towards the selection of pastries displayed behind the counter. Unfortunately, my heart sank as I realized that many of them appeared to be stale and dry - nobody wants a rock-hard croissant! I understand that freshness is key when it comes to baked goods, and I would hate for this to become a recurring issue. Despite this minor setback, I must say that the coffee itself was as delicious as ever. The aroma of roasted beans wafted through the air as our orders were prepared by the friendly baristas, who greeted us with smiles and eagerly answered any questions we had about their offerings. In fact, it's this positivity and optimism that sets Caffè Nero apart from other coffeehouses - the staff genuinely seems to care about providing a pleasant experience for each customer. Their enthusiasm is contagious and helps to create an uplifting and inspiring environment. Speaking of inspiration, today's news has been a mixed bag. The stock market has taken a dip as traders brace themselves for Nvidia's Q1 report - an anticipated revenue surge and positive earnings forecasts notwithstanding. However, notes from the Fed meeting hint that there may be no immediate interest rate decrease, which could potentially dampen market sentiment. As someone who closely follows economic trends, I find these developments both intriguing and unpredictable. But no matter what the future holds, I know that I can always count on Caffè Nero to provide a warm and inviting space where I can gather my thoughts and contemplate the world around me - stale pastries notwithstanding!

In conclusion, while there were some minor setbacks during our most recent visit, I remain optimistic about the future of Caffè Nero.

From 7 Humberstone Gate, Leicester LE1 3PH, I previously visited Caffè Nero with my partner, finding the vegan options limited. However, I'm still excited to see what new plant-based choices await at this popular café during our next visit.

Rating: 1/5 reviewed: 2024-04-28 by Anastasia

I am disheartened to hear Amelia's less than favorable review regarding their vegan options. While it is true that the selection may not be as extensive as some other cafes in the area, I firmly believe that Caffè Nero goes above and beyond in terms of quality and taste. Firstly, let us address the issue of limited vegan options. While it's true that they do not have a wide array of plant-based choices, what they lack in quantity, they make up for in quality. Their almond milk latte is absolutely divine, and the texture and richness of their soy latte are unmatched. For those seeking something sweet, their vegan chocolate brownie is truly a work of art - fudgy, moist, and bursting with flavour. Moreover, Caffè Nero takes great care in sourcing high-quality ingredients for all their products. Their almond milk, for example, is made using only the finest almonds, and their soy beans are carefully selected to ensure optimal taste and texture. This attention to detail is what sets them apart from other cafes in the area - they truly care about the quality of their products and go above and beyond to deliver a superior experience to their customers. In terms of romance and intimacy, Caffè Nero creates a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that is perfect for couples or anyone seeking a little bit of solace from the outside world. The warm lighting, soft music, and comfortable seating all contribute to a sense of connection and intimacy between patrons. Whether you're catching up with an old friend or having a romantic date night, Caffè Nero provides the perfect backdrop for any occasion. In conclusion, while it is true that Caffè Nero may not have as many vegan options as some other cafes in the area, their commitment to quality and taste more than makes up for it. Their attention to detail, romantic atmosphere, and exceptional customer service make them an absolute must-visit for anyone looking for a high-quality coffee experience.

I've visited countless cafes over the years. But my experience at Hughie's Cafe last summer left me feeling less than impressed. The weak Wi-Fi connection was a major letdown in an age where a strong internet connection is crucial for work and communication. It's hard to imagine how any cafe could survive without reliable Wi-Fi these days, especially considering the growing trend of remote work and digital nomadism. But despite this setback, I couldn't help but feel awestruck by the charm and atmosphere of Hughie's Cafe. The decor is a delightful blend of rustic and modern elements, with exposed brick walls, wooden furniture, and tasteful pops of color. The lighting is perfect for working or reading, and the seating arrangements are spacious enough to accommodate groups without feeling crowded. The menu at Hughie's Cafe is equally impressive. I ordered a latte and croissant, both of which were perfectly executed. The croissant was flaky and buttery, with just the right amount of sweetness. The latte was rich and creamy, with an espresso shot that packed quite a punch. And as for today's news, it's hard not to feel excited about TransMedics' impressive Q2 results. The company's stock price has surged in response, with analysts raising their price targets based on the potential blockbuster status of its lung transplant system. With revenue jumping 63% and EPS beating by $1. Hughie's Cafe isn't the only thing worth getting excited about these days!

In conclusion, my experience at Hughie's Cafe was a mixed bag - weak Wi-Fi aside, I couldn't help but feel enchanted by its charm and atmosphere. And with news of TransMedics' promising earnings, it seems like there's plenty to be excited about in the world today. Whether you're a digital nomad or simply looking for a cozy spot to unwind, Hughie's Cafe is definitely worth checking out. As I write this review, I can't help but feel grateful for the opportunities technology has afforded us. From remote work and digital nomadism to news of promising earnings in the biotech sector, it's clear that we live in a time of unprecedented connectivity and possibility. And as I sit here sipping on my latte and reflecting on these things, I can't help but feel a sense of wonder and amazement at all that modern technology has to offer.

Dear Aurora Carlson,

As a frequent customer at Shisha Cafe, I was disappointed to read your review rating the establishment only three stars. Your argument that the vegan shisha flavors are not up to par is particularly concerning, as I have personally enjoyed several of these options during my visits. In fact, I believe that Shisha Cafe's commitment to offering a wide range of vegan choices sets it apart from other similar establishments in the area. While some places may only offer a few token options for vegetarians or vegans, Shisha Cafe has gone above and beyond to cater to this growing population. Moreover, I find it hard to believe that you would rate a place with such an impressive selection of flavors so low. Are you implying that the shisha itself is not up to par? If so, please provide specific examples or evidence to support your claims. As for the issue of vegan options, I must confess that I have noticed some inconsistencies in this regard. While most of the fruit and nut blends are indeed vegetarian-friendly, there are a few flavors that contain honey or other animal-derived ingredients. However, I would argue that this is not a deal-breaker for many vegans, as honey is often considered a grey area in terms of dietary restrictions. Furthermore, I have spoken to the staff at Shisha Cafe about these issues and they seem committed to finding solutions that will meet the needs of all their customers. They are currently exploring alternative sweeteners and ingredients that can be used to replace animal-derived products in some of the shisha blends. In short, I believe that Shisha Cafe is doing a commendable job of accommodating its diverse clientele, including vegans and vegetarians. While there may be some room for improvement in this regard, I do not think it warrants a rating of just three stars. I encourage you to visit Shisha Cafe again and sample their wide range of flavors, both vegan and non-vegan alike. You may be pleasantly surprised at how far they have come in terms of catering to dietary restrictions.

Shisha Cafe Falls Short in Vegan Options**

As I sat at the dimly lit Shisha Cafe, surrounded by the wafting aromas of exotic spices and the gentle hum of conversation, I couldn't help but feel a sense of disappointment. Aurora Carlson's review, rated 3 out of 5, seemed to echo my sentiments perfectly - or so I thought. Upon closer inspection, however, I found myself questioning her arguments and presenting my own counterpoint. The original review begins with a courteous note, thanking customers for their interest in expanding the cafe's vegan shisha flavors. While this is a noble gesture, it also serves as a reminder of what is lacking - variety. Aurora mentions that the cafe is "currently looking into" offering more options, but this vagueness only exacerbates the issue. What does "looking into" even mean? Are they researching new recipes or simply going through the motions?

I must admit that I was initially drawn to Shisha Cafe by its promise of exotic flavors and welcoming atmosphere. But as I perused the menu, my enthusiasm waned. The options available were sparse, with only a handful of vegan choices - none of which seemed particularly exciting. Where are the bold flavors, the innovative twists on traditional recipes? Don't they want to challenge their customers' palates?

Aurora argues that Shisha Cafe's current offerings "aren't bad," but this lukewarm assessment does little to inspire confidence in the cafe's commitment to catering to vegan diners. In fact, it implies a lack of effort or attention to detail - as if they're merely tolerating vegans rather than actively courting their business. Furthermore, Aurora mentions that the staff is "friendly and attentive," which I can attest is true. However, this praise rings hollow when set against the backdrop of a largely uninspired menu. It's not enough to have pleasant service if the food itself doesn't live up to expectations. In my opinion, Shisha Cafe has an opportunity to elevate its game by investing in more innovative and varied vegan options. By doing so, they can attract a wider audience and establish themselves as a leader in the shisha cafe scene - rather than simply treading water. A Personal Reflection**

As I finished writing this review, I couldn't help but reflect on my own experiences at Shisha Cafe. Why did I find myself drawn to this place despite its shortcomings? Was it the promise of relaxation and leisure that initially enticed me? Or was it something deeper - a desire for connection with others, perhaps?

In many ways, Shisha Cafe represents a microcosm of our society's values: we prioritize convenience over creativity, familiarity over innovation. By doing so, we risk stagnation and boredom. But what if we were to flip this script? What if we prioritized bold flavors and creative offerings - even if it means taking risks?

For me, Shisha Cafe represents a missed opportunity - a chance to push boundaries and challenge our assumptions about what a shisha cafe should be. Until they take steps to address these issues, I fear they will remain stuck in neutral - a pleasant but uninspired destination for those seeking a casual smoke. Rating: 2/5**

While Shisha Cafe has its charms, it falls woefully short in its commitment to vegan options and creative flavors. Until they make significant changes, I'll have to give them two stars out of five - a rating that reflects their potential rather than their current state.

I remember my visit to Cobbler's Cafe at 75 Carlisle Street, Leicester LE3 6AH, United Kingdom, long ago when I was still single. It was a peaceful little cafe tucked away in the heart of Leicester. I had come from De Montfort Hall, which is just a few miles away and one of the city's most iconic landmarks. The journey to Cobbler's Cafe from there took about 20 minutes by foot, passing through the bustling streets of Leicester, lined with shops and cafes, before turning into the quieter residential area where Carlisle Street resides. It was a pleasant walk that allowed me to take in the sights and sounds of this vibrant city while also giving me a chance to reflect on my thoughts and feelings. As I approached Cobbler's Cafe, I felt an almost irresistible urge to step inside and immerse myself in its cozy atmosphere, savoring their delicious pastries and coffee while reminiscing about the journey that had led me there.
