Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the difference between our classic latte and cappuccino?

A classic latte consists of espresso shots topped with steamed milk and a small amount of frothed milk. The ratio of espresso to steamed milk in a latte is typically 1:3, meaning for every shot of espresso there is three times the volume of steamed milk.
On the other hand, a classic cappuccino consists of espresso shots topped with an equal proportion of steamed milk and frothed milk (usually 1:1:1 ratio). This means that the froth is more prominent in a cappuccino as compared to a latte.
In terms of flavor, both drinks have their unique characteristics. A latte has a creamy taste with subtle coffee notes due to the higher volume of steamed milk, while a cappuccino has a bolder and richer espresso flavor due to the equal proportion of frothed milk.

What is the specific roast date of our current espresso blend?

Our current espresso blend is roasted daily at our roastery. The exact roast date may vary, so for the most accurate information, we recommend contacting us directly or checking with your coffee supplier or café where you purchased it. They should be able to provide you with the most up-to-date roast date information. Alternatively, you can check the bag label or the packaging if it's available to see the roast date noted there. Our espresso blend is designed to be enjoyed within 7-10 days of roasting for optimal flavor and freshness.

Last summer, my boyfriend and I craved for something delicious to eat. We headed to Grand Café Planie, a well-known eatery in Stuttgart, with high hopes. The place was already crowded when we reached there, and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air. We were immediately impressed by the ambiance - it was cozy, warm, and inviting. The walls were adorned with vintage posters and photographs, creating a nostalgic feel. I couldn't help but admire the antique typewriter sitting on a table, which added to the charm of the place. We ordered our meals and waited eagerly for them to arrive. But as we took our first bites, disappointment set in. The food was mediocre at best, lacking the flavor and depth that we expected from such an esteemed restaurant. The portions were small, and the prices were steep - a clear indication of the establishment's overconfidence in its reputation. What made matters worse were the unclean premises. There was a faint odor of stale air, and the floors seemed to be ignored for days. The cutlery was not properly sanitized, which raised concerns about hygiene. My boyfriend, who is usually not too picky about such things, couldn't help but express his discomfort. In contrast, I recently visited a new restaurant in Stuttgart - Cafe Laurent. It offered an entirely different experience. The ambiance was stylish and modern, with soft lighting and minimalistic decor. The food was exceptional - every bite was bursting with flavor, and the portions were generous. And most importantly, everything was spotlessly clean. It's a shame that Grand Café Planie doesn't live up to its potential. Its reputation has been built on nostalgia and tradition, but it seems to be resting on its laurels. The quality of food and the level of hygiene need to improve significantly if the restaurant wants to remain competitive in today's market. In light of recent events, such as Google's decision to stop linking to California news sites for some users, it's becoming increasingly evident that businesses must adapt to changing circumstances. Grand Café Planie needs to do the same - it cannot afford to ignore customer feedback and continue with business as usual. In conclusion, while Grand Café Planie may have a rich history, its future is uncertain unless it takes bold and decisive steps towards improvement. As for us, we'll be sticking to Cafe Laurent from now on - the mystery and uncertainty surrounding Grand Café Plaine's fate are not worth the risk.

I recently visited Cafe Chaamäléon located at Eberhardstraße 35, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany in November with my girlfriend. This café is highly recommended by locals and has a good reputation for its unique atmosphere and delicious coffee. However, our experience was marred by the overpriced items on their menu.
While we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of this quaint café, it became quite frustrating when our bill didn't match our expectations based on the experience. The prices were significantly higher than what we had anticipated, especially for a city like Stuttgart where living costs are already high. Our coffee and small snack cost more than it should have, given that it wasn't a fancy or extravagant dish.
The quality of service was good, and the staff was attentive to our needs. However, this couldn’t redeem the overall experience because we felt the prices were unjustifiably high. This left us feeling disappointed and not entirely satisfied with our visit to Cafe Chaamäléon. We recommend being prepared for higher-than-usual prices if you choose to dine here.

I visited Classic Rock Café on Eberhardstraße last summer during a layover between flights. The atmosphere was great, with rock music playing and memorabilia adorning the walls. I decided to try one of their famous burgers, which did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and attentive, but it wasn’t enough to make me want to come back again.
The food took a bit longer than expected, but when it arrived, it was worth the wait. My burger had a perfect blend of flavors and was cooked just right. However, I found the portions to be quite large, which made it difficult for me to finish my meal. Despite this, I still enjoyed my time at Classic Rock Café, but I don't think I'll be back when I return to Stuttgart.

As a local, I am well aware of the plethora of cafes that Stuttgart has to offer. But recently, I stumbled upon a hidden gem in the heart of the city - Cafe Weiß. Located on Geißstraße, this cozy little spot is nestled between the bustling streets of the Schlossgarten and the serene greenery of the Königsstrasse. To be completely honest, I almost missed it entirely. I had heard whispers of its existence from some friends, but with a city as sprawling as Stuttgart, it's easy to get lost in the maze of streets that make up its heart. But one chilly evening, I decided to take a stroll around the area and see if I could finally find this elusive Cafe Weiß. Now, let me tell you - finding it was not an easy feat. The address, as provided by my friends, seemed a little too vague for my liking. But I'm nothing if not determined, so I set off on foot with a map and a prayer in hand. My first few attempts left me hopelessly lost, wandering aimlessly through the maze of alleys and side streets that make up this part of town. But then, as luck would have it, I stumbled upon a familiar landmark - the majestic statue of King William I, standing tall and proud at the heart of Schlossplatz. From there, I followed my instincts and eventually found myself on Geißstraße, where Cafe Weiß had been hiding all along. As I pushed open the door to this cozy little spot, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere - the kind that instantly makes you feel at home. The decor is tasteful and understated, with soft lighting and wooden furnishings that lend a certain rustic charm to the space. But what really sets Cafe Weiß apart is its commitment to quality service and excellent coffee. The baristas here are true artists in their craft, taking pride in every cup they create. I ordered a classic cappuccino, and was blown away by its rich aroma and velvety texture - it's clear that the beans they use are of the highest caliber. And if you're feeling peckish, the selection of pastries on offer is simply irresistible - from flaky croissants to buttery croissant-pain au chocolat hybrids, there's something here to satisfy every craving. But it's not just the food and drink that makes Cafe Weiß such a special place. There's a certain vibe in the air, a sense of community and camaraderie that draws people together. Whether you're working on your laptop or simply enjoying a leisurely breakfast with friends, there's something here for everyone. And as I sat sipping my coffee and watching the hustle and bustle of Geißstraße outside, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this little haven in the heart of Stuttgart. It's a reminder that, no matter how busy or chaotic our lives may become, there's always time to slow down, breathe deeply, and appreciate the simple pleasures of life - like a warm cup of coffee and the company of good friends. In fact, I'm already planning my next visit here, eager to sample some of their other offerings (like their famous chocolate-hazelnut spread, which is said to be absolutely heavenly). And who knows? Maybe I'll even manage to find my way here without getting hopelessly lost in the maze of streets that make up this part of town. Until then, though, I'm content to enjoy the cozy confines of Cafe Weiß - a true gem in the heart of Stuttgart, and a place where I can always find solace and comfort. As for the news of Bayer's recent ruling regarding soybean royalty refunds for Brazilian farmers, it seems like just another chapter in the ongoing saga of corporate greed and exploitation. The fact that these farmers are being forced to pay exorbitant fees for the use of genetically modified seeds is nothing short of scandalous - especially given the numerous health and environmental concerns associated with GMOs. It's high time that companies like Bayer started prioritizing the needs and well-being of their customers over their own bottom lines, or else risk losing the trust and loyalty of consumers everywhere. And until then, I'll be content to support businesses like Cafe Weiß - places where quality service, excellent coffee, and a commitment to community values are still the order of the day. Until next time, Stuttgart! May your adventures be plentiful, your coffee be strong, and your spirits never flag.

my eyes widened with wonder and amazement. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafted through the air, beckoning me closer. My husband and I had been eager to try this place for weeks, and we were not disappointed. The decor was a feast for the senses - rich leather chairs, plush velvet sofas, and walls lined with antique books and artifacts from around the world. The lighting was soft and diffused, casting a warm glow over everything. It was as if we had stepped into a different time altogether - one of old-world charm and sophistication. We made our way to a table, eagerly anticipating the coffee that awaited us. But as we sat down, disappointment washed over us like a tidal wave. The surface of the table was gritty and sticky, reminiscent of an alleyway rather than a high-end café. Our hearts sank as we realized that cleanliness seemed to be an afterthought here. We couldn't help but wonder how such a place could let this happen - was it lack of care or sheer negligence? It was a shame, for the coffee itself was exceptional - rich and full-bodied, with notes of dark chocolate and caramel that danced on our tongues. But the dirty tables marred our enjoyment of the experience, leaving us feeling uneasy and discontented. In light of recent news about food safety concerns in some establishments, we couldn't help but think of the potential health hazards associated with such filth. It was a stark reminder of the importance of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, not just for aesthetic reasons but for the health and well-being of patrons as well. As we left Rizza Caffe that day, our hearts heavy with disappointment, we couldn't help but wonder what could have been. If only the tables had been clean, we could have savored every last drop of our coffee without a single worry in mind. But alas, it was not meant to be - and we left, hoping that someday, Rizza Caffe would live up to its full potential and deliver the same level of excellence in all aspects of its service.

As a student seeking a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life, I recently stumbled upon Cafe Forum Stuttgart in Stuttgart. This charming cafe transported me to another world, one where my lover's hand intertwined with mine as we savored every moment together. Though I am not a citizen of this city, it has captured my heart. As the news of a powerful 7. Taiwan offshore reverberated through the streets, I found solace in this cozy cafe. The walls were adorned with colorful artwork and books lining every nook and cranny, creating an atmosphere that felt more like home than a commercial establishment. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafted through the air as we took our seats by the window, watching the world go by. The barista, dressed in a black apron, greeted us with a warm smile and recommended their signature cappuccino, which left us both speechless with its velvety texture and rich aroma. The gentle hum of conversation and soft jazz music played in the background as we delved into our pastries and sipped on our coffee. The flavors were so divine that they transported us back to that day long ago, when we first fell in love over a cup of coffee in this very cafe. As the news continued to update us with reports of tsunami warnings for Japan and the Philippines, we felt grateful to be here, in this haven of tranquility. The MRT services may have been delayed elsewhere, but at Cafe Forum Stuttgart, time stood still as we cherished every moment together. In conclusion, I must say that this cafe has become a special place for us both, where love blossomed and memories are made.

My dearest wife Joanna Mays and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Café am Schlossgarten, Stuttgart's finest eatery. The enchanting atmosphere, breathtaking views of the palace garden and impeccable service from the warm-hearted staff made for a truly memorable experience.
As we entered the cafe, we were immediately greeted by a friendly hostess who took us to our table with ease. The staff working in Café am Schlossgarten were not only charming but also very approachable. From the moment we stepped foot inside, we felt welcomed and at home.

Ah, Café am Schlossgarten - a name synonymous with elegance, beauty, and, as Matthew Velez so eloquently puts it, Stuttgart's finest eatery. But is it truly the paradise that our dear Mr. Velez paints it to be? Let me share an alternate perspective, one laced with a touch of curiosity and a pinch of skepticism.
Firstly, I must admit, the welcoming atmosphere and the warm-hearted staff indeed make for an inviting experience. However, could it be that the hostess was particularly effusive towards the couple because they were obviously tourists? Or perhaps, as they were dining during peak hours, they wanted to ensure their table was turned quickly to accommodate other patrons?
Secondly, while the baristas certainly appeared professional, what about their coffee-making skills? Was it really "precision" at work, or was it simply a well-rehearsed routine? And as for those delightful pastries, I've had pastries that looked just as appetizing but tasted far from heavenly. So, could the impeccable presentation be a mere illusion to mask less-than-stellar taste?
Lastly, while the journey from Löwenberg Palace to Schillerstraße 23 might have been easy on foot for Mr. Velez and his wife, what about those who don't have the luxury of time or mobility? Is Café am Schlossgarten truly accessible to all?
Intriguing questions, aren't they? Perhaps it's time to visit this so-called gem hidden in Stuttgart's heart and see for ourselves. After all, every rose has its thorns, and every cafe, no matter how enchanting, has its imperfections waiting to be uncovered. Let your curiosity guide you!
