This experience at Columbus Café & Co was particularly galling given the news of the day. As we sat there, sipping on our overpriced drinks, we couldn't help but think about the economic inequality that plagues Amsterdam and other major European cities. The fact that a simple croissant could cost almost 4 euros was a stark reminder of just how far removed this café was from the realities of everyday life. In conclusion, I would highly recommend avoiding Columbus Café & Co at all costs. Not only is it overpriced and underwhelming, but its lackluster service and disregard for customer satisfaction make it a place to be avoided at all costs. If you're looking for a true coffeehouse experience in Amsterdam, I would suggest checking out one of the many local cafes that prioritize quality over profit margins.
