Last June, we went to Zingo's Cafe and met this guy named Maxwell Stout. He got us into a heated debate over straws! Anyway, the place had comfy seating, bean dishes were amazing, chili smelled delicious, bean salad was to die for, secret menu with beans that blew our minds. Lightened things up joking about Maxwell's argument over straws. Looking back, humor saved the day. Next time at Zingo's Cafe, can't wait for more shenanigans!

The decor is modern and cozy, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly puts one at ease. The seating arrangements are comfortable and spacious, making it an ideal spot for catching up with friends or working on your laptop. Secondly, the food at Zingo's Cafe is nothing less than heavenly. The bean dishes are simply out of this world! I tried the black beans and rice, and I was blown away by the depth of flavor that they possessed. The chili too was a treat for my taste buds - it had just the right amount of spice, and the aroma was irresistible. If you're a fan of bean salad, then you must definitely give Zingo's Cafe a try. It is truly divine!
Thirdly, I would like to highlight the fact that Zingo's Cafe offers a secret menu with an array of delicious bean-based dishes that will leave you speechless. I was fortunate enough to try their signature dish - the triple bean burrito - and it was an experience that I will never forget! The combination of pinto beans, black beans, and kidney beans in the burrito was simply divine!

As a couple, we stayed at The Padre Hotel located in Bakerfield, CA long ago. Though known for its history and architecture, our room was underwhelming considering the price. Room service was overpriced. The old-fashioned room had a worn-down feel and an unclean bathroom.
The bedding was comfortable but the atmosphere disappointing. We booked a couple's massage at the in-house spa, which wasn't relaxing due to poor service. The location near downtown Bakerfield didn't have many nearby attractions or restaurants within walking distance; we had to take taxis out.
Overall, our experience was far from satisfactory for the cost. While it has beautiful elements and a good location, overpriced items, subpar service, and mediocre rooms make me hesitant to recommend staying there again.
