Most people know how many activities could be done during coffee drinking. Not only shopping but also exhibition visiting are very popular.
There is also live music at the festival in the afternoon! If you are looking for a BBQ place to eat while attending the carnival you should check this place out.
Big Blue's Texas BBQ Festival This is a huge, huge festival that is held each year across Texas. This year it will be held on Sept 17, 2019 in Brownsville.
You may have seen Big Blue's BBQ at other big Texas festivals and they are all different. However the one I am going to list here is definitely the same, Texas BBQ.
It is located in downtown Brownsville and it is a big event. This year it will start off at 12 pm and it will wrap all day on Saturday afternoon.
The festival features a BBQ Festival, a Big Blue's BBQ contest, and a lot of other activities. I will give you the full list of events in detail in a later post so make sure you check back there to see all the details.
Big Texas Music and Art Festival and Music Festival Texas This is probably one of the best Music and Art Festivals in the state but it is not a big event for the average festival goer.
I personally am very familiar with Big Texas Music and Art as the place is right next to the Big Bend and the people attending events there are very nice too. 8. Big Rock State Fair This is probably one of the biggest festivals in the whole country and one of my best places to see big Texas Music and Art.
As usually on Friday I came to Pepe's Mexican Cafe for americano and Gabriella welcomed me warmly. I sat down at my favorite table overlooking the 3312 S College Ave street.
I called waiter and ordered americano with moravian spice cookies. At one point, one of the guests sitting inside the restaurant heard the music started playing a song by the 80's band BTO, the tune was called "We are the champions" and he asked Gab if she knew the band, she said she knew them.
And a very good friend had written a book by the same title. We made some good friends that day. On Sunday evening I went with some great friends to visit a friend of my parents that just moved to San Jose several months ago. I had a delicious dinner and we talked until early in the morning.
Sunday morning I arrived home early at 5 in the morning. Sunday evening I spent the rest of my time in my favorite reading chair. I had a great time on Sunday. May 4 I received an invite to go to an art show in the University Theater (on campus).
The exhibition was titled - "THE WORD IS HERE - An art exhibition where the viewer can see words as art on the canvas." I looked through the catalog and decided I wanted to go. I got up early in the morning and left home I was greeted warmly by the other gallery mates.
We all had delicious coffee together. I ended up sitting beside my good friend, I met her last year through this lovely group. We spoke about all sorts of things at once we got talking about the wedding cake. I said to her “I want to learn how to make the wedding cake, can you help me?” she said “sure we can”.
We did end up meeting on the wedding day, I will mention about this in a moment. We talked some more about the wedding cake so I decided to make a cup cake instead of the wedding cake. It was very much tasty and I really loved the icing on it.
When I finished making it, I thought to myself “This is how I will make the cake!!”, this is what our wedding was about! I wanted to create something that would make my dad smile with joy and not just any old cake.
I made many mistakes and many successes, and this is how I achieved all this, we went to a local supermarket for ingredients for my first cup cake.
I will have to mention what I did. I used double cream instead of single cream, because it kept more heat. I used double chocolate instead of chocolate, because it melted quicker and the taste was much more to my liking.

Oh boy, where do I even begin? Minuti Coffee, situated at 424 Northpoint Crossing #1700, College Station, TX 77840, United States has definitely been a memorable experience for my fiancé and me! As we strolled through the quaint little town of College Station one sunny afternoon, we decided to give Minuti Coffee a shot.
Now, let's be honest: I had heard some mixed reviews about this place, but being the optimistic soul that I am, I chose to give it a fair chance. And boy oh boy, was I in for a rollercoaster ride!
Upon entering Minuti Coffee, we were immediately greeted by their friendly barista who welcomed us with open arms. The interior design of the coffee shop is quite unique - think modern meets rustic chic. There's an eclectic mix of wooden tables, vintage chairs, and industrial-style lighting that creates a cozy atmosphere perfect for catching up on work or engaging in deep conversations.
As my fiancé and I perused their menu, we couldn't help but feel excited about all the delicious options available. From their signature espresso drinks to their scrumptious pastries, it seemed as if Minuti Coffee had thought of everything!
However, here comes the tricky part - the service. Oh, sweet mother of mercy, was it slow! As we waited endlessly for our orders to be prepared, I couldn't help but feel a tad frustrated. But hey, life isn't always about rushing through things, right? So, instead of letting my frustration get the best of me, I chose to embrace the moment and have a little chat with my fiancé while we waited.
When our orders finally arrived (after what felt like an eternity), we couldn't help but giggle at the irony of it all. Our drinks were served in beautiful ceramic mugs that added a touch of elegance to our otherwise chaotic experience. As for the taste, well, let me just say that Minuti Coffee certainly knows how to make a mean latte! The combination of their freshly ground beans and perfectly steamed milk resulted in a smooth and velvety cup of heavenly goodness.
Now, if there's one thing I've learned throughout my life, it's that every situation - no matter how frustrating or mundane - has the potential to turn into a memorable experience. And that's exactly what happened at Minuti Coffee! Despite the slow service, we ended up having an amazing time catching up with each other and enjoying our delicious treats.
In conclusion, I would definitely recommend giving Minuti Coffee a try if you find yourself in College Station. Sure, the service might be slower than molasses on a cold day, but sometimes life is all about appreciating the little moments that make us smile. So next time you're craving a good cup of joe and a hearty conversation with your loved ones, head over to Minuti Coffee and embrace the chaos - because remember, it's all part of the adventure!

As I sit here, reliving the horrific experience at Sweeet Eugene's during last summer's vacation with my husband, the memories still haunt me like an unwanted specter that just won't leave. Located at 1702 George Bush Dr E, College Station, TX 77840, United States, this place is nothing less than a vegan nightmare for anyone seeking a delightful plant-based treat.
The moment we entered the store, I felt like Alice falling down a rabbit hole into a dark abyss of limited vegan options. It was as if the entire confectionery shop had been cursed by some malevolent force that wanted to torment us with our dietary restrictions. The once-welcoming atmosphere quickly transformed into an ominous chamber of despair, where every sweet delight seemed to mock us for our inability to indulge in them freely.
As we perused the shelves and displays, it became evident that Sweeet Eugene's had forgotten about the existence of plant-based eaters. The few vegan options available were hidden like treasures buried deep beneath layers of animal-derived confections. My heart sank as I realized our hopes for a satisfying dessert experience had been crushed under the weight of cruelty and neglect.
The horror didn't stop there. Even when we finally found some paltry alternatives, they tasted more like punishment than pleasure. The textures were off, the flavors lacked depth, and the overall satisfaction was nonexistent. It felt as if every bite was a reminder of how little this establishment cared about providing for those with special dietary needs.
But what truly sent chills down my spine was the realization that millions of people must suffer through similar ordeals when seeking plant-based treats. In today's world, where veganism is becoming increasingly popular, it's unacceptable for businesses like Sweeet Eugene's to continue neglecting their customers' needs.
In conclusion, our visit to Sweeet Eugene's was nothing short of a horror story filled with disappointment and despair. But this experience has only fueled my determination to spread awareness about the importance of offering diverse options for all dietary preferences. Every individual deserves a chance to enjoy a delicious plant-based treat without feeling like they're being punished for their choices. And until more establishments recognize this fundamental truth, I will continue seeking solace in other sweet havens that prioritize inclusivity and compassion over ignorance and cruelty.

As I sit here at my quaint café on Texas Avenue, pen in hand, memories flood back of a serene autumn afternoon with my dear girlfriend. We shared an intimate journey through College Station until we found refuge from the chill within Lupa's Coffee shop.
The sun cast its golden glow upon us as we entered; the café was alive with conversation and music. Pastries tantalized our eyes, but alas, their taste fell short - hard, stale bites replaced sweet anticipation. Our connection faltered as disappointment overtook us; however, we found solace in each other's presence.
We vowed to return when pastries were fresh and the moment ripe once more. And so, my love, let us hope our paths cross again at Lupa's Coffee for a shared delicious treat and renewed connection.

As a food enthusiast, my partner and I decided to visit Frittella Italian Cafe in June as we heard rave reviews about their delicious Italian cuisine. We were eager to indulge our taste buds in something truly exceptional, and the cozy ambiance of the restaurant left us feeling excited. However, our experience was not entirely what we expected. I have a dietary restriction that requires me to avoid dairy products, and unfortunately, Frittella Italian Cafe did not seem to accommodate my needs. It was disappointing because I had heard from other customers that they offer vegetarian options, but it seemed like their vegan choices were limited. This situation left us feeling unsatisfied as we couldn't enjoy a meal together due to my dietary restriction. Despite this minor setback, the service at Frittella Italian Cafe was impeccable, and our waiter went above and beyond to ensure that we had a pleasant dining experience. He took special care to suggest dishes that would cater to my dietary restrictions and made sure that I received everything that I needed without any complications. In comparison to other restaurants in College Station, Frittella Italian Cafe stands out due to its authentic Italian cuisine and cozy atmosphere. The decor is elegant yet inviting, and the aroma of freshly prepared dishes wafts through the air. While my experience with dietary restrictions was a little disappointing, I would still recommend Frittella Italian Cafe to others as they have an impressive variety of pastas, pizzas, and salads that are sure to please even the most discerning food critic. Overall, our experience at Frittella Italian Cafe left us hopeful for future visits, and we look forward to exploring their menu further. While there were some minor setbacks, I believe that communication with the restaurant in advance can help ensure a more positive dining experience for individuals with dietary restrictions. Nonetheless, we left the restaurant feeling satisfied and eager to return again soon.

As I walked through the doors of On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina, nestled at 709 Texas Ave S in College Station, TX 77840, United States, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation for the authentic Mexican dining experience that awaited me. I had heard so much about this place from my friends and colleagues, and I was eager to share this culinary adventure with my brother, who was visiting from out of town.
As we settled into our seats, the ambiance of the restaurant enveloped us in a warm embrace, filled with the fragrance of tantalizing spices and the hum of lively conversation. We eagerly perused the menu, hoping to find dishes that would transport us to the very heart of Mexico.
But as we ordered our meals, a sense of dread began to creep over me. The prices on the menu seemed exorbitant, far beyond what I had expected for such an establishment. My brother and I exchanged worried glances, wondering if it was worth it to spend so much money on what could potentially be mediocre food.
As we waited for our meals, we tried to make light of the situation, cracking jokes and engaging in small talk. But as the minutes ticked by, the knot in my stomach grew tighter and tighter. I couldn't shake the feeling that we had made a huge mistake.
When our food finally arrived, I couldn't help but feel underwhelmed. The portions were small, and the flavors were lackluster at best. My brother and I exchanged disappointed glances, realizing that the pricey menu items hadn't been worth the exorbitant costs.
As we left the restaurant, I couldn't shake the feeling of despair that had settled over me. The bill didn't match the experience, and it was a harsh reminder that sometimes, the best intentions can lead to disappointing results.
In the days that followed, I couldn't help but reflect on our dinner at On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina. It was a stark reminder that even the most promising of experiences can fall short of expectations. But it also served as a lesson in being more cautious when it comes to making decisions based on hearsay and hype.
In the end, I hope that those who read this review will learn from our mistakes and approach their own dining experiences with a healthy dose of skepticism and caution. For while On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina may have been a letdown for us, it could still be the perfect place for someone else to discover authentic Mexican cuisine and create lasting memories with their loved ones.
As I read Max Miranda's opinion on his experience at On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina, I couldn't help but feel a sense of melancholy creeping in. It seems that the author was deeply disappointed by what he perceived to be an overpriced and underwhelming dining experience. However, I must respectfully disagree with Max's assessment.
I have had the pleasure of visiting On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina on numerous occasions, both alone and with friends and family, and each time I have left feeling thoroughly satisfied. Yes, the prices may be higher than some fast-food chains, but the quality of food and service more than makes up for it.
One of my favorite dishes there is the Chimichanga Suprema, which features a generous portion of tender slow-cooked shredded beef, mixed with sautéed bell peppers, onions, and melted cheese, all wrapped in a crispy flour tortilla. The flavors are rich and authentic, transporting me straight to the heart of Mexico without ever leaving my seat at the restaurant.
Moreover, the staff has always been exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring that our needs were met promptly and efficiently. They clearly take pride in their work and it shows in every aspect of their service.
Perhaps Max's negative experience was an isolated incident or simply a matter of personal taste. Regardless, I urge those who are interested in trying On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina to give it a chance without letting one individual's opinion sway them. After all, everyone deserves the opportunity to form their own opinions and make their own memories at this beloved restaurant.
I must admit, Thea's review of On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina has left me feeling quite intrigued. While Max Miranda's opinion was certainly valid, I believe it is essential to consider other viewpoints before making a decision about any establishment. Having heard such glowing praise from Thea, my curiosity has been piqued, and I am eager to try this restaurant for myself. Her description of the Chimichanga Suprema sounds absolutely mouth-watering, and I can't wait to sample its rich and authentic flavors. Furthermore, her positive experience with the staff at On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina is a testament to the quality of service that the restaurant provides. It is clear that they take pride in their work, which reflects in every aspect of their service. I urge others to give this beloved restaurant a chance and form their own opinions about it. After all, everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the flavors and hospitality that On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina has to offer.
